Free Transit on Election Day

Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George is  offering free  transit on Saturday, November 15th to ensure voters can get to the polls.

There will be a  couple of  route deviations,  with:

  • route 91, Hart / Spruceland, heading off  North Nechako Road to  drop off  and pick up voters at the Edgewood Elementary School
  • route 46 Queensway will  swing by Ron Brent Elementary School

There will be eight voting places throughout Prince George for municipal  voters on Saturday:

  • Blackburn Community Centre,
  • DP Todd Secondary School
  • Edgewood Elementary School
  • John McInnis Centre
  • Kelly Road Secondary School
  • Malaspina Elementary School
  • Ron Brent Elementary
  • Vanway Elementary

Also supposed to be an “Air Advisory” in Prince George—-Free rides?

The air advisory isn’t out yet for PG:

“The Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the Northern Health Authority has issued an air quality advisory for Port Alberni, Comox Valley, Kitimat, Vanderhoof, Smithers, Telkwa, Houston and Burns Lake because of high concentrations of fine particulates which are expected to persist for the next few days.”
