Prince George, B.C. – Polling stations for the 2014 civic general election opened at 8 this morning and, from initial appearances, turnout is quite heavy.

One voter at the poll at D.P. Todd Secondary says “the pace is quite brisk, with all polling booths filled. By 8:30 my ballot was #91 to go into the machine.”

All polling stations for the city, school board and regional district elections are open until 8pm. And 250 News will have extensive coverage of the races throughout the region once the polls have closed tonight.
