Prince George, B.C.-  Chief Elections Officer for the City of Prince George, Walter Babicz is advising DP Todd Secondary is currently experiencing heavy voter turnout.

There has also been a steady and brisk flow of voters throughout the day at Malaspina Elementary School in College Heights.  Electors who wish to lessen their wait times may consider an alternate voting place. Currently, Edgewood Elementary and Ron Brent Elementary are experiencing shorter wait times than DP Todd Secondary.

Just got back from voting at DP Todd. The place was packed. One volunteer who had been doing this for 20 years said she had never seen anything like it. It was a friendly atmosphere and it felt good to finally be able to mark that ballot.

Now all there is to do is sit back and wait for the results…
