Prince George, B.C.- The Air quality advisory for Prince George is over.
The Ministry of the Environment says levels of PM10 and PM2.5 are reduced, and precipitation is expected to bring the levels well within acceptable limits. The ending of the Air Quality Advisory means the Free Fare for Clean air program, which offers free transit rides during an advisory, will come to an end at midnight tonight.

Stinking city!
If you live outside of the bowl the air is much better.
It is indeed better but it is still noticeably polluted with fine particulates from slash burning and the occasional heavy smoke from wood burning stoves.
