Prince George, B.C. – School trustees will be voting for a new chairperson at their inaugural meeting Tuesday night.
This after Sharel Warrington, chairperson for the past three years, confirmed to 250 News she won’t be seeking reelection.
“It’s time for me to be able to express my opinions and to work as a member of the team. I’m looking forward to that.”
She says the past three years were “incredible” and says she’s “very proud of the work the board has done.”
Warrington is also confident the board will be in good hands moving forward.
“We have a strong new board and whoever the board chooses as their new chair will do an excellent job.”
