Quesnel, B.C. – The investigation into a home invasion on Hixon Road in Quesnel Sunday has come to a sudden conclusion.

This after Quesnel RCMP say the man they believe was responsible for the crime died yesterday.

The 32 year old was found dead in the 3100 block of Nazko Road in the Bouchie Lake area and police say strong evidence suggests he was responsible for Sunday’s assault.

Police have ruled out foul play in the death.

Sunday’s assault sent a woman to hospital with non-life threatening injuries (see original story here).

She has since been released from hospital.
