I wonder if the first responders used egg whites on the burns? They are the most effective remedy for burns both immediately and for longer periods of healing.

Using egg whites can be effective at treating blisters that occur on the backs of ankles from shoes that rub for example, but are of no use in a pre/out hospital setting. The priorities of front line emergency workers are: removing the patient from the building(which the firefighters do) and the patient(s) are handed off to higher trained paramedics that remove toxic clothing, re-oxygenate, replenish fluids (IVs) and cool burns using sterile saline as not to introduce more germs into wounds. Often times the paramedics are not mentioned in the news (eventhough they are on scene) because they don’t stick around. They provide patient care and then transport to an appropriate facility. Good job BCAS and PGFR !
