Prince George, B.C. – Those in search of the Christmas spirit should go to the Prince George Civic Centre today.

The Downtown Winter Fair runs until as late as 4:00 p.m. says Brenda Langlois, executive director of the Prince George Community Foundation.

“What people can see today is a lot of unique craft items from more than 125 vendors. They can also see a lot of games and activities for children including a North Pole station, relays, and raffles.”

Some of the those activities include an Elf’s station where you can learn to grow candy canes while another provides food for Santa’s reindeers.

Langlois says the goal of the youth driven event is to help raise money and provide grants to the community.
