Chamber & PG Cougars Team Up to “Break the Ice”
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Chamber of Commerce and the Prince George Cougars have teamed up to “Break the Ice.”
“The intent really is to get businesses to connect with the Cougars in a way that takes us back a few years to when the Cougars were a part of doing business in Prince George,” says chamber CEO Christie Ray.
“When many organizations took clients, took their staff (to games), they had a really important role in the business community.”
She says “Breaking the Ice” will allow businesses to buy a table ($300) and in return the Cougars will provide them with 14 game tickets for the team’s January 16th tilt with the Portland Winterhawks.
“Think of it as a trade show. It’s a marketing opportunity to increase exposure to your product or service to the target market that also goes to see Cougars games.”
Ray says they’ve sold a handful of tables already and are aiming to sell 20 to 40. She encourages interested businesses to call Marnie Hamagami with the Cougars (250-561-0783 ext. 29) or Jessica Walker with the Chamber of Commerce (250-562-2454).
