Anahim Lake, B.C. – A news conference regarding the double homicide in Anahim Lake, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed.

“Due to the evolving response at the community level and urgent priorities required by community leadership, speakers will be unavailable for the scheduled event,” says Trevor Kehoe, communications officer with the First Nations Health Authority.

“The FNHA will be connecting with community leadership to issue a written statement over the next few days along with the potential for scheduled interviews.”

Six people have been arrested in connection with the Boxing Day murders which claimed the lives of 23 year old Matthew Hennigar, and 22 year old Kalvin Andy.
