Williams Lake, B.C. – RCMP in Williams Lake have now released the name of man whose body was found beneath a bridge north of that city one week ago.

On January 2^nd at 2:17 PM, police received a report of a body on the ice under the Rudy Johnson Bridge near Soda Creek, approximately 40 kilometres north of Williams Lake.

The North District Major Crime Unit has positively identified the deceased male as 22 year old Jesse Frank of Williams Lake.

The cause of death will not be released, but investigators can confirm that they are investigating this incident as a targeted homicide. The public is not at risk.

The MCU is trying to corroborate a time line regarding this investigation. If anyone has information regarding any of Jesse Frank’s activities prior to his death, they are asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
