Prince George, B.C. – The  plans are being finalized for the opening ceremonies of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

PRP,  which produced the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2010 Vancouver Paralympic Games,  is organizing the  events  which will feature local talent.

Featured performers include:

• Tristan Ghostkeeper
• Dear Rouge
• Bright City Heights
• Black Spruce Bog

Sponsored by the Regional District of Fraser Fort George, the  opening ceremony will take place at the CN Centre,  and will be broadcast live on TSN at 7pm on February 13^th.

In all, more than 180 performers will be part of the ceremony that will welcome  hundreds of athletes to Prince George for the Games.

The opening ceremony will also have special appearances by high-ranking government officials and well known athletes who took part in previous Canada Winter Games.
