New Weather Record Set Today

Prince George, B.C. – A new weather record has been set for January 26th in Prince George, but it isn’t linked to temperature.
It has been mild alright, but the new record for this date is all about the rain.
As of 4 this afternoon, 6.4 mm of rain had been recorded at the Prince George Airport, and 8.2 mm had been recorded at the Environment Canada weather station on Massey Drive.
Both amounts are well over the old record of 2mm of rain which fell on the City on this day in 1984.
The exact new record won’t be known until it stops raining today, and that is expected to taper off this evening.

Kinda sorta is linked to temperature don’t ya think? LOL
Temperature on this day in 1950 -46
Ahhh. The good ol’ days.
Oh please, MAKE IT STOP!!!! Argh. :-(
and YRB and the city couldn’t imagine it would freeze overnight either. Sand/salt is a pricey commodity these days apparently.
