MLA Mike Morris Has New Role

Prince George, B.C. – Mike Morris, the MLA for Prince George and Mackenzie has been named Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations .
The announcement comes in the form of a mini cabinet shuffle following Don McRae’s request to step down from cabinet in order to support a family member through health challenges.
McRae will continue to serve as MLA for Comox Valley.
Premier Clark has named Michelle Stillwell as the Minister of Social Development and Social Innovation, and MLA Darryl Plecas, Parliamentary Secretary for Seniors to the Minister of Health .

He will do OK. We need the MLAs in our PG area to have a position so we can have some say and clout in our area as taxpayers.

I thought Mike was just given a job with wildlife habitat to study the decrease in moose population. I guess that won’t happen now.
Hey let’s give the guy a chance to get his feet wet before we pre-judge his priorities.
