Accused Serial Robber’s Name Released

Prince George, B.C. – The man arrested Friday in Grande Prairie and facing a string of charges in connection to a rash of hold ups has been identified as Shaun Christopher Cornish.
Formerly of Langley B.C. , the 26 year old Cornish is accused of three robberies in Alberta, (Lethbridge, High River and Claresholm).
Charges are pending in Saskatchewan and B.C. as he is the prime suspect in robberies in Vernon, Merritt, Aldergrove and Dawson Creek in B.C, and in Swift Current Saskatchewan .
Cornish remains in custody and is set to make a court appearance in Alberta Provincial Court in Okotoks Alberta on February 6th.
