PGSS Reunion to Celebrate Days Gone By
Prince George, B.C. -2015 is shaping up to be a year of celebration, of creating new memories and sharing the old.
With the City of Prince George set to welcome the Nation for the Canada Winter Games, followed soon after by the official 100th birthday of the incorporation of the City of Prince George, former students at PGSS are hoping to carry on the party to early fall by taking a trek down their own memory lane.
Plans for a PGSS High School Reunion on September 18th and 19th are in full swing. A website has been established, a facebook page has been set up, the Coast Inn of the North has been booked.
Although aimed at those who graduated 1960 to 1965, students who attended PGSS in other years are also invited, as are spouses, relatives and friends.
“We are getting a lot of interest and enthusiasm from former students in the city as well as those who live in other parts of the province or abroad,” says Reunion Committee member Betty Belado.
The reunion is being set over two days so there is plenty of time for attendees to reconnect, mingle and talk.
