Prince George, B.C. – Patti Knezevic and her Prince George rink will be looking to shake off an opening day stinker and get into the win column today at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw.
Knezevic took a sound thumping in the opening draw of the national championship on Saturday, losing 8-2 to Stefanie Lawton of host province Saskatchewan. The Knezevic rink plays twice today, at 7 this morning against Lauren Mann of Quebec followed by a tough tussle against reigning Olympic champion Jennifer Jones of Manitoba at noon.
Two-time defending Canadian champion Rachel Homan has jumped out to a 2-0 record atop the standings by virtue of a pair of opening day victories.
