Prince George, B.C.- It is budget day for B.C. and it is anticipated the  Provincial Government will ‘stay the course’.

All indications are there will be little change to the  spending plan which was outlined last year in a three year  spending plan.

Minister of Finance Mike de Jong   carried on the tradition of a Finance Minister showing off shoes yesterday, but instead of  buying a new pair, had a comfortable “balanced’ pair  re-soled.

While the budget details remain  confidential until  de Jong rises in the Legislature,  hints are there will be  a slight increase in spending in health care,  and increased fees and premiums.
