Lockout Averted – CN and Unifor Have Tentative Deal

Prince George, B.C.-As the clock was ticking towards the deadline, CN and Unifor announced they had reached a tentative agreement.The railway had planned to lock out the 4800 Unifor members at 8:00 pm(Pacific time) this evening, but contract talks resumed today following a Sunday meeting between the two sides in the contract dispute.
Unifor says details of the agreement will not be disclosed until ratification votes have been completed. Those ratification votes are expected to take place over the next three weeks.

I doubt any deal will improve their service.
Actually I can see it getting worse, if the workers don’t like the deal then expect to see a slower down than the slow they are now
