Monday, February 23, 2015 @ 9:38 PM

Prince George, B.C.-As the clock was ticking towards the deadline,  CN and Unifor announced they had reached a tentative agreement. The railway  had planned to lock out the 4800 Unifor members at 8:00 pm(Pacific time)  this evening, but contract talks resumed today following a  Sunday meeting between the two  sides in the  contract dispute.

Unifor says details of the agreement will not be disclosed until ratification votes have been completed.  Those ratification votes are  expected to take place over the next three weeks.
