That is a bad corner. People go from the Old Cariboo Hwy. around by the Esso so they don’t have to wait for the light at Hwy. 16 and Old Cariboo. They then turn on to 16 and cut off people coming both ways on 16. There should be proper lights installed there instead of a flashing light.

I for one disagree with this thinking.
It is already hard enough to get through this town from a highway route without constant stopping and starting at traffic lights and you think we should add another impediment a 1/4 mile away from the existing traffic lights at Atchison Rd. (Old Cariboo Hwy.).
Underpass/overpass + merge lanes are the best way to control traffic entering and or leaving a main route.
Yes they cost more initially, but surely there are far fewer collisions and traffic on the main route can maintain progress, saving wear and tear on the roadway, vehicle brakes, and also reducing fuel consumption.
metalman.
looking might work to.
Needs a light!!
