Prince George, B.C. – Big trucks were temporarily blocked from using Prince George Pulpmill Road earlier this afternoon.
This after a chip truck lost its back trailer at around 1:45 pm on the Cameron Street roundabout.
There are no reports of any injuries and traffic is reportedly back to normal.

Little bit of a maintenance issue there one would think huh? Trailers just don’t fall off for no reason. Better there than on the highway at speed.
How did the whole thing end up there, unless he was in the roundabout going the wrong way?
Time DOT did some safety checks.
I know loads are taken from the mill to CN Reload Center
That are way over weight.
Not sure if you are on the roads a lot doneright but I see the MoT out there just about every day checking vehicles
Another reason to keep these highway menaces in the rear view mirror. The pin was likely corroded and eaten away by uric acid as the drivers take their morning whiz (aka pre trip inspection) between the trailers.
Funny that the silence from O250 chip truck drivers has been deafening. Guess could not find a way to blame a 4 wheeler. Wonder if the tractor was blue or beige?
