Two Face Charges Following Trio of Robberies

Fort St. John, B.C.- Two men have been arrested and face charges following three robberies in Ft. St. John.
On March 2nd, Express Pawn Shop was robbed by a lone male. On March 3rd the Chevron Gas Station was robbed by a lone male and on March 4th a local taxi driver was robbed by two men.
On March 4th the Fort St. John RCMP executed a search warrant at a local residence and then arrested two 23 year old males.
Police have recommended the following charges against Shayne Stephen Hewer:
- 2 Counts of Robbery
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
- Fail to Comply with a Probation Order
Police have recommended the following charges against Robert Duncan McDonnell:
- 2 Counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
The two have been remanded in custody and their next court appearance will be Wednesday March 18th.
