Tale of Two Coasts
Prince George, B.C. – Well, Spring officially arrives at 3:45 this Friday afternoon in Prince George. The signs of Spring are already showing in this part of the province. Some folks in the bowl area of Prince George are already thatching their lawns, and of course, the Robins are returning. Our photographer snapped a photo of one little red breasted fella’ in Cottonwood Island park yesterday.
The ground was soft enough that this bird was able to scare up a worm.
And while the winter in B.C. has been milder than usual, the same cannot be said for the folks on the opposite side of the nation.
Yesterday, we received this little time lapse video of the snow clearing that had to be done following Monday’s blizzard that whipped across Nova Scotia and the rest of the Maritimes.
And while we don’t want to seem smug…. the poor folks who spent 8 hours clearing out the snow from this Cape Breton property, will be digging out again today after another major dump of snow. You will be hard pressed to convince these folks that Spring is just two days away.

lets JUST SAY im glad to be living in the WEST!!! THOSE POOR SOULS.
-17 overnight here tonight, LOL. I can’t complain though. For the most part the last week and a bit has seen temps climbing back to normal and the snow has melted quite a bit. It won’t be long until the grass is green, the tulips are out and the fish are biting :)
They mowed the lawn at our complex yesterday and many of the ornamental trees are in bloom in oderford oh I mean Abbotsford temp sits at 15c.
Cheers
