Williams Lake, B.C. – The Williams Lake RCMP has a new detachment commander.
Staff Sergeant Milo MacDonald replaces Inspector Warren Brown, who took on the role of detachment commander in Prince George in December.
MacDonald hails from Calgary and joined the force back in 1996 and is no stranger to Williams Lake.
“Coincidentally enough, Williams Lake was my first posting,” says MacDonald. “Not only was the work exciting, but the natural beauty of the community allowed endless recreational opportunities. The opportunity to come back full circle to Williams Lake is eagerly anticipated.”
Following his first posting in Williams Lake, MacDonald spent time in such places as Anahim Lake, Kelowna, and Dawson Creek.
