Prince George, B.C. – Local Mounties are thanking the public in helping put a wanted man behind bars.

26 year old Prince George resident Shaun Ray Peter was wanted for a string of charges including Assault with a Weapon, for events which are alleged to have taken place earlier this month and in February.

Peter, who also has ties to Burns Lake, will be held in custody until his first court appearance tomorrow.

He’s facing the following charges:

Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Theft Under $5,000, Breach of Probation.
