Prince George, B.C. – The 45 year old victim of yesterday’s shooting in Prince George has died.

The incident occurred near 5th Avenue and Gillett Street at around 10:30am Sunday.

He was then transported to hospital where he later died

The RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has taken over what is now a homicide investigation and police say foul play is suspected.

The incident closed the west bound section of 5th Avenue from Carney Street to Gillett for several hours while evidence was collected.
