Victoria, BC – Close to 4,000 employees at ICBC will be receiving a 5.5-percent wage increase over the next five years…

The Insurance Corporation and the Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union Local 378 announced they’ve ratified the agreement set to take effect on July 1st.

The deal covers employees in ICBC’s various operations, including customer claims, auto insurance, driver licencing, road safety and general administrative support.

The agreement does provide for additional salary increases if the provincial economy exceeds forecasts set by the Economic Forecast Council during the last four years.
