Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP are investigating an incident Friday night in which a man suffering a wound to the forearm was found bleeding just off the bypass.
Emergency personnel responded to 20th and Central, across from the College of New Caledonia, around 10:30 pm Friday following word a male was at that location and was covered in blood.
An RCMP spokesman says an intoxicated male had suffered a cut to the arm and was transported to hospital with a non-life threatening wound. The spokesperson said the incident in which the man was cut did not occur at that location but could not provide further information as the matter is still being investigated.
It is not known if the victim remains in hospital today.
Saturday afternoon what appeared to be a blood-soaked cloth or piece of clothing was lying on the ground next to a street sign at 20th and Central. The police spokesperson said that information would be brought to the attention of the investigating officer.
