Prince George, B.C. – A public consultation session scheduled for Prince George on spending limits during municipal elections today has been cancelled.
The Special Committee on Local Elections Expense Limits has been travelling the province examining spending limits amounts for local election candidates, including limits for mayors, councillors, school trustees and other other offices.
Similar sessions were cancelled in Terrace and Fort St. John yesterday due to low registration.
A session in Kamloops this afternoon will go ahead as planned.
