Joe Martin Field Receives Facelift

Prince George, B.C. – Joe Martin Field is looking just like new.
The ball park received a major facelift this weekend after being heavily vandalized during the off-season (see previous story here).
Prince George Youth Baseball Association coordinator Rod Walters says Business Central Building Supplies primed the concession, dugouts and stands Saturday while around 30 volunteers did the painting Sunday.
All of this just in time for the start of the little-league season May 4.

Way to go kids, guys and gals.
Love to see the community pulling together and at least one local business step up and contribute. Kudos to all of you.

Good work to all involved!! Have watched this field get messed up over the last year by the little buggers that hang out there after school, at nights and weekends. Other than thumpin the little thugs…what can be done, who do you call??
Good to see that the good guys are not letting the haters ruin the party. Well done!
agent87 … Back when I was a kid, the local vigilantes would have used rock salt and a half load but then that is ancient history.
