Prince George, B.C. – A 25 year old Prince George resident has been arrested following a pair of violent robberies over the weekend.

Police accuse Brent Lane Wilson of robbing a 29 year old man of his wallet early Saturday morning, allegedly by gunpoint, near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Vancouver Street.

The suspect and his unknown adult First Nations female accomplice fled on foot.

In addition, police allege Wilson was responsible for an assault at 10am Sunday morning at a motel on Queensway.

Though he fled on foot, police located him close by and were able to seize a replica pellet pistol.

Police say the victims in both cases were not injured. Wilson, who is well known to police, is facing the following charges:

Two counts of Robbery
Two counts of Assault with a Weapon
Two counts of Use of Firearm while Committing an Indictable Offence
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

Police say Wilson was also the subject of an Arrest Warrant out of Smithers at the time of his arrest.

He is expected to appear in Provincial Court later today.
