Charges Laid in Death of Williams Lake Area Man
Williams Lake, B.C.- It has been more than two years since Gary Price was reported missing by his family, and nearly a year since his remains were discovered on a property in Likely. A man has now been charged in connection with his death.
The family of Gary Price reported him missing on March 3rd of 2013. Investigations concluded he had been last seen alive on February 23 of that year.
Despite extensive searches of the Likely B.C. area, including where Price’s pick up truck was located, there was no sign of him, until September 19th of last year, when his body was recovered from a Likely property.
Crown Counsel has approved charges of Manslaughter and Indignity to Human Remains against 54 year old Guy William Smith of Likely.
Smith was arrested in Saskatoon last Friday, and will be transported back to B.C. to face the charges.
