Accidental Fire Causes Half a Million in Damages

Prince George, B.C. – Crews responded to a structure fire at a secluded home on the 5000 block of Ferguson Lake Road this afternoon.
The blaze broke out just before 1:30 and by the time firefighters arrived the home was fully involved.
Prince George Fire Rescue (PGFR), BC Ambulance, and the RCMP all attended the scene.
PGFR estimate damages at $500,000 and note there were no injuries.
The cause was accidental due to cooking and the home was unoccupied when the fire broke out.

Crock pot would be my guess. Or a burner left on accidentally.
