Man Survives Industrial Accident

Sunday, May 31, 2015 @ 11:17 AM

Prince George, B.C. – A Prince George man was lucky to escape an industrial accident without any injuries this morning in Miworth.

“At approximately 9 this morning police, fire rescue and ambulance were called out to an industrial accident on Bergman Road,” says Prince George RCMP Constable Ashley Hope. “There was a male who was working on an excavator when the hole he was working on caved in.”

Miraculously she says he was pulled free and doesn’t appear to have any injuries.

“With equipment like that you always have to be careful about being safe.”

Why wasn’t the hole dug correctly to stop it from caving in.. 45 degree banks are the law unless bracing is used if you go below four feet in depth

@Pval – because WCB only goes after people it knows it can get money from… they never go on a private job site, or project… the hypocrisy is outrageous.

Pg101, you got that right.. I was in a seminar about work safe.. They always go after ( when they don’t screw up the investigation of course) the ones with the biggest wallets.
