“Prank” Triggers Lockdown at PGSS
Prince George, B.C. – A “code yellow” led to a lockdown at Prince George Secondary School today.
Superintendent of Schools Brian Pepper confirmed the news noting it’s “prank season” and that the district is simply taking action to “ensure student safety.”
He says the lockdown lasted for approximately two hours and was lifted at 3 pm.
Pepper declined to comment on the nature of the prank.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says police are investigating and “trying to track down whoever is responsible.”
Earlier this week, grads of D.P. Todd Secondary pulled a prank that saw them rename the school as D.P. Todd Penitentiary, and place plastic dolls dressed as prison guards and inmates on the school property.
The students also included a note saying they hoped administration wouldn’t be too upset, that they couldn’t have graduated without the positive lessons learned, and promised to clean up their prank.

Yeah, except in the case of D.P. Todd no police resources were wasted in the execution of that prank. “Prank season” makes it sound so harmless. Having cops deviate from their duties isn’t harmless.
Can you imagine your dogwood is denied, and you have to do grade 12 over.

DP Todd has a great academic record. My daughter graduated from that school. Have you ever looked at it. Almost no windows. It looks like a Penitentiary. Godd on the kids for coming up with a creative prank and to clean up afterwards
I hope that everyone has as good a time.I had some of the best moments of my life some 28 years ago.I only hope that there are no casualties, injuries,or criminal charges being had, and these young kids move on to bigger and better things. (This wish goes out to my nephew who graduated from PGSS this year and all the other graduates out there!
