Williams Lake, B.C.-  One man is in hospital recovering from  stab wounds following an altercation   Saturday night.

Williams Lake RCMP responded to a call  about a fight involving  a weapon  around 8:13 pm  Saturday.  When Police arrived at the Lakeview Avenue location, they found a man  suffering from stab wounds,  he was  sent by ambulance to hospital.   His condition  is reported as stable.

Williams Lake General Duty and General Investigative Services have spoken with several potential witnesses and the investigation remains ongoing. This incident is not believed to be a random act and it is believed the victim knew the attacker(s).
