Double Fatal Crash Victims from B.C.
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say the fatal crash 53 kms east of Tete Jaune was a single vehicle roll over.On June 26, 2015 at 12:40 a.m. the Valemount RCMP received a report of a serious single vehicle roll over on Highway 16 approximately 58kms east of Tete Jaune junction.
Valemount RCMP say they were alerted to the crash around12:40 this morning, and when they arrived on scene, found both occupants of the vehicle deceased. The deceased are a 28 year old man and a 29 year old woman, both British Columbia residents.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but excessive speed is believed to be a major factor.
The highway was closed for some time, was opened to single lane alternating traffic since 8:30 a.m., but has since been fully reopened.
The names of the deceased are not being released as notification of next of kin has not been completed at this time.
