Search Continues for Driver of Truck

Houston, B.C.- The male driver of a pick up truck that was discovered in the Morice River, is still not accounted for.
RCMP say a passerby noticed the truck in the river around 5:24 am on Tuesday June 30th.
Police attended the scene, near the 23 km mark on the Morice River Forest Service Road and determined the truck had rolled down a steep embankment before entering the water. The female passenger in the truck was rescued by first responders however there is still no sign of the male driver.
Search and rescue teams remain in the area, trying to locate the missing male.
While Police continue to investigate the cause of this crash, alcohol is considered a factor.
Names have not been released.
