Thursday, July 16, 2015 @ 3:52 AM

pgcougars2015_150Prince George, B.C.- Although the  Cougars charity hockey tournament  has been  sold out for some time,  there  will be an opportunity for Cougars fans to  meet and greet some of the team’s alumni.

As has been the case in the past, some former Cougars who are taking part in the fundraising  event for the Spirit of the North  Healthcare Foundation,  will once again be making themselves available for an  autograph session.

The  event is taking place at the  FORE Bistro and  Patio  at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club  on Friday at 4 p.m.

The event is free,  but  autograph books will be  available by  donation.

More than 20  alumni  will be taking part in the event, including  Dan Hamhuis, Eric Brewer,  Tyler Bouck, Blair Betts, Eric Hunter and Nick Drazenovic.

Awesome event, and ownership is amazing. Too bad they have to use the Fore restaurant…. bring your life savings for a burger and fries…

Agree with PG101 on the choice of venue …. terribly overpriced.
I stopped in there about 3 weeks ago on my 1st and last trip there. The menu stated that a budweiser beer was, I think, $5.45 …. however, when I went to pay for it I was told $6.90 …. yup $7 for an everyday, run-of-the-mill, budweiser. I didn’t even pay that in an upscale pub on Granville St. in Vancouver; that’s way more than is charged at Coach’s Corner and they’re paid union wages there.
There also the only venue in PG that advertises the before tax price of alcohol in the menu, which I find deceptive.
Really wish the Cougars had of found a better venue.
