Fire Hydrant Testing in the Hart
Wednesday, July 29, 2015 @ 3:44 AM
Prince George, B.C. – Some residents in the Hart may experience changes to their household water supply this morning.
This as the City of Prince George will be testing fire hydrants in the area.
“The testing is necessary to ensure that the Prince George Fire Rescue Service has access to water pressure sufficient to its needs in the event of a fire event in that area,” says City spokesperson Mike Kellett.
Testing will take place between 8am and 12pm in the following areas:
Austin Road
Foothills Boulevard
Kelly Road
Highland Drive
Affected residents may encounter issues such as water discolouration and low pressure.
People with concerns are asked to call City Hall at 250-561-7600.
