Wanted Man Spotted
Quesnel, B.C.- Gerald McLean, wanted for a parole violation, has been spotted in the Bouchie Lake area.
Earlier this week, a resident in the Bouchie Lake area has been checking on his father’s abandoned property and came across a man in the residence. He asked the man to leave the premises, and the man complied.
It has been confirmed the man found in the residence was Gerald McLean, wanted on a Canada wide warrant for parole violation.
A police dog team from Prince George and Williams Lake, Kamloops Air Services helicopter, and several police officers searched the area for several hours, but were not successful in obtaining a track for McLean.
At the time, McLean was wearing camouflage shirt and pants, a green cap, carrying a green packsack. McLean has shaved off his beard and only has a few days growth. He may also have shaved his head, but this cannot be confirmed. He was last seen walking into the bush in the Paley Rd Area.
The search for McLean continues and the Quesnel RCMP are asking the public to ensure they continue their vigilance and to report any possible sightings of McLean, or suspicious activity in or around this area day or night. Do not approach him, but call 911 immediately.
