Prince George, B.C. – If you’re in to mountain biking, then Otway Nordic Centre is the place to be today.

A Hot Day at Otway features cross-country bike races accompanied by a lot of other elements.

“We’ve got DJs playing music all day long, we’re going to have a face-painting station, a tug-of-war plus all-day competition in four different classes of cross-country,” says spokesperson Andrew Steele.

He says the event is one of a series of competitions leading up to The Throwdown Adventure Festival scheduled for 2018.

Steele says that event will combine activities such as mountain biking and kayaking with music and arts.
