Prince George, B.C. – Summer vacation is quickly coming to a close, a new school year is about to begin and registration in School District 57 takes place this week.

Students new to the district, including those who have moved to a different attendance area within the district, are asked to register at their new schools on the following dates:

ELEMENTARY

Tuesday, September 1, 2015, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

You are asked to come with the following:

• Proof of address (driver’s license, utility bill)
  Copy of the child’s birth certificate as proof of age and name.
• Most recent report card from previous school.

SECONDARY

Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on dates noted below:

• College Heights – Sept 1, 2, 3
• Duchess Park –  Sept 1, 2, 3
• Kelly Road – Sept 1, 2
• Mackenzie – Sept 2,3,4 (closed 12:00 – 1:00)
• McBride – Sept 1, 2, 3
• Prince George – Sept 1, 2
• DP Todd – Sept 2, 3
• Valemount – Sept 1, 2, 3

Please bring:

• Child’s birth certificate as proof of age and name.
• Most recent report card from previous school.

Students having successfully completed Summer School should inform their school to ensure enrolment in the correct courses.
Students transferring from elementary school to secondary school in the same attendance area need not register.

All schools in District 57 resume classes on Wednesday Sept 9th, 2015.  Students should report to school at the usual time unless informed otherwise in June.  Dismissal times will vary from school to school.  School busses will return students home shortly after dismissal.
