Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George are  asking for the public’s help  in locating a man wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

38 year old Mervin Lynn Walkus is wanted for Being Unlawfully at large after failing to return to his designated  residence in P.G.

Police efforts to locate Walkus have  been negative,  and now hope  the public can  help  locate him.

He is  described as:

• First Nations male
• 155 cm (5’1″)
• 68 kg (150 lbs)
• Black hair (usually cut short)
• Brown eyes
• Tattoos on his right arm and fore arm

Police say Walkus has a long and violent Criminal Record. He has known associates in Port Hardy and the lower mainland of BC. Police say  Walkus should be considered VIOLENT.

RCMP advise  that should anyone  locate Walkus, that they do  not confront him,  rather,  call 9-1-1 immediately.
