ICS Seeking Startup Mentors

Prince George, B.C. – The Innovation Central Society (ICS) is seeking mentors to help provide strategic direction to new startup and early stage companies in Prince George.

Executive Director Robert Quibell says there are volunteer opportunities for people with knowledge in the following areas:ics

-Sales/marketing; engineering and/or product management
-Navigating challenges of technology commercialization and new venture development
-Setting objectives and deadlines; and
-A mixture of entrepreneurial and professional experience

Volunteers will assist with Market Validation Training (MVT) on September 16, October 14 and November 18.

“What we’re looking for is people who are working in technology,” says Quibell. “Maybe they’ve been the CEO of a company or they’ve worked in the technology area and they’e got areas of expertise in either marketing or taking that product to market. We’re interested in talking to them.”
