Two Arrested, One At Large in Stolen Vehicle Case
Prince George, B.C. – Two people have been arrested a third remains at large following an RCMP investigation into a stolen truck.
RCMP say they attempted to pull over a stolen Ford F-250 truck on Highway 97 south near Red Rock, and that the driver tried to flee the scene by colliding with a police vehicle along Red rock Road West.
Police say two people fled the vehicle, one was arrested in the truck.
Police Dog Service Dog ‘Azar’ tracked one suspect about a kilometre. That suspect was arrested.
Another suspect remains at large.
A 43 year old Prince George man believed to be the driver of the truck is facing the following Criminal Code charges:
- Flight from Police
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Dangerous Driving
A 27 year old Prince George man, believed to be a passenger, is facing a Criminal Code charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Both men remain in custody at least until their first court appearances scheduled for Thursday September 10th and Friday September 11th. The investigation is continuing.
