Saturday, September 26, 2015 @ 4:07 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The annual Mennonite Fall Fair is on today at the Prince George Civic Centre and this year is directing some of the funds raised to the Syrian refugee crisis.

Proceeds will go to education programs for Syrian refugee children as well as to the Ness Lake Bible Camp, the New Life Centre and the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.

The fair runs from 10 am to 4 pm and lunch, which includes borscht, Farmer sausage on a bun, dessert and a beverage, is served all day.  One of the more popular local pre-Christmas fairs, the Mennonite Fall Fair also offers a wide variety of local crafts, fresh produce and plants, Farmer sausage, frozen perogies, baked goods and crafts from around the world in the Ten Thousand Villages boutique.

There are also quality used goods including clothing and books, and there is a Silent Auction which ends at 12:30 pm.

Again the fair is on today at the Civic Centre.
