New Vice-Chair for School Board

Prince George, B.C. – Tim Bennett is the new vice-chairperson in School District 57.
He replaces Brenda Hooker who decided to relinquish the role earlier this month after accepting a job in Fort St. John.
Hooker, who plans to keep her job as trustee, stepped down because she felt it was necessary to have someone in Prince George to support chair Tony Cable on short notice.
Bennett is no stranger to the position having served as vice-chair for two years on the previous board.
“I’m really looking forward to being able to support the board and chairperson Cable in this new capacity.”
Bennett will have the job on an interim basis until the board’s yearly elections are held in December.
