Prince George, B.C. – The leaves have changed colour and will soon be the cause of involuntary workouts in the yard, the temperatures are cooling and the Friends of the Market Fairs are fading into the distance for the next seven months.
Today marks the end of the summer run for the Fairs, held on the lower end of 6th Avenue in conjunction with the Prince George Farmers’ Market. However in all likelihood the Friends of the Farmers’ Market will be back next May, offering foods, artistic creations, imported items, specialty products and much more.
And of course, the Farmers’ Market runs year round from 8:30 am to 2 pm each Saturday with foods, crafts, knitting, jewelry, flowers, vegan and gluten-free products, leather goods and other items.
