Prince George, B.C.- The CBC  has just announced it is predicting that Justin Trudeau will be the next Prime Minister of Canada.  The network  has not  indicated if it believes it will be a majority or minority.

At the time of the announcement, the Liberals were elected or leading in 52 ridings, and the ballots in  Quebec and Ontario  have  yet to be  finalized.

The Liberals took  every riding in the Maritimes ( 32) and  confirmed as leading or  elected in  20 more.

The Conservatives  are leading in 39 ridings,  the NDP in 10 and the Bloc Q has the lead in one.

In order to form a majority government a  party   has to  win 170 seats.
